Sermon Highlights

One of the awesome teens, Brittney, who attends FreeLife Assembly has written a sermon review for the week. (Minimal editing done where appropriate.) The idea is for the teens to be engaged in the message and write a short review. 


Today (September 21, 2014) in church we had a guest speaker who joined us from Oregon. He and pastor Joe (Kiehn) have been friends for some time (25 years!) now. Pastor Pieter's sermon focused mainly on Acts 2. He talked about how we should never deny God in front of man and that we should live to be what God wants us to be. He shared stories of himself and Pastor Joe (and how they were) just the day before talking to a random person about God. And how he had gone to Germany and met some of the Hell's Angels biker gang members and had discussed God with them as well. His sermon was very powerful to me especially when we prayed for each other individually. I (Brittney) would really want to hear him speak again if given the opportunity.
